london haul

Oh hey there! This post is probably coming as a bit of a surprise to you as (yes, yet again) I have had a rather long unexplained absence but do not fear, I have a haul (in my opinion the best type of blog post) to share with you all. Seeing as it's now half term and I was in desperate need of some retail therapy to distract myself from the fact my exams start in a few months and 546464 other college responsibilities, I hopped on the train to London with my sis and some friends. I am justifying all many of these purchases by the fact I used Christmas money to buy them so really I've done quite well saving that money until now *achem*  anywayyyyy.

I picked up a couple of highlighters in Muji which are strictly for educational purposes and totally not just because that shop is stationary porn (I feel like I'm not even slightly convincing you). On a more serious note, these highlighters are the bomb.com and do seriously help with revision and college work in general so definitely check out Muji if you're needing a pencil case update! I also went to Brandy Melville which may have been a slight mistake because I just wanted to a) buy everything and b) fall asleep in a pile of grey t shirts because they were oh so very soft. I picked up a basic black and white striped tee which will be super comfy for college and nice for spring when it gets a little warmer and also a patterned halter neck top so I can feel really 90's and pretend I'm Kat from 10 Things I Hate About You. Moving on.

Anyone who knows me irl will know my love for American Apparel is pretty big and I have been wanting a circle skirt for literally YEARS (not even exaggerating). So I bit the bullet and decided to part with my £46 (cry) for the most perfect navy corduroy skirt only to then find out they were having a 60% off sale and let me tell you I almost shed a tear of happiness. I left a very happy customer indeed with my beautiful circle skirt in hand and I can't wait to wear it literally everyday for the rest of my life. I also picked up a MAC pressed powder which is 100% justifiable because I had a voucher and I have needed a new powder for the longest time. I got mine from the MAC store in Carnaby Street because the ladies who work there are the loveliest ever and am I the only one who can sometimes find make up shopping intimidating ?? Anyway I had it applied in store in the morning and my make up stayed put perfectly for the rest of the day so I would definitely recommend getting yourself one of their powders if you have oily skin too!

I also managed to convince everyone that a Byron Burger was completely necessary after an extremely long day of walking/carrying bags/generally having a fab time so that was a v yummy if not slightly guilty end to the day. Let me know what you're getting up to this half term (Mine will probably mainly consist of essays, coursework and revision now. Oh the life of an A level student).

ALSO OMG I JUST REALISED THIS IS MY 100TH POST ?? THANKS FOR STICKING WITH ME UNTIL THIS (KINDA BIG) MILESTONE DESPITE THE FACT I REALLY AM AN AWFUL BLOGGER, ILY ALL.
